Use the outline to shape a clear learning sequence.
Build an outline
Section titled “Build an outline”Courses use cover, page, chapter, and quiz sections. Chapters organize child sections. Select a section in the outline to work on it; add sections with the outline’s Add control.
Use section actions to rename, duplicate, move, hide, or remove material. Check the learner preview after changing order, especially for an ordered course with scored quizzes.
Reuse a page
Section titled “Reuse a page”Save a page template when you want to reuse an entire composition. Inserting a template creates fresh node IDs. See templates.
Keep an escape route
Section titled “Keep an escape route”Save a named checkpoint before major restructuring. Version history provides a route back through the normal validated edit path. Locked blocks can prevent a removal; resolve the lock intentionally rather than expecting a section delete to bypass it.
