Documentation baseline
Section titled “Documentation baseline”This guide covers app v0.16.1 “Quail”, dated October 27, 2026 in the application source. The top bar displays your running app’s version, code name, and date. The footer records the KB’s last content update in UTC, Pacific, Eastern, and Central time, with daylight-saving offsets applied for that date.
Quail field guide update
Section titled “Quail field guide update”- Files: account-wide library, reuse across courses, ZIP unpacking, replacement history, and course usage inspection.
- AI Assist: the inspector and toolbar share one working suggestion flow, scoped to selected text, a block, or the current page. Applied changes have a labelled history entry and grouped undo.
- Course settings: a dedicated control selects course-wide appearance and objectives in the inspector; Harbor, Grove, and Ember palettes have Light/Dark variants and contrast feedback.
- Plan & review: Blueprint, Alignment, and Review share one menu. Contextual help opens the matching field guide.
- Responsive workspace: the refreshed light-mode captures include the phone outline and learner preview.
Authenticated learner preview remains available. Public course publication, SCORM export, public enrollment, and LMS delivery remain unavailable.
Documentation maintenance
Section titled “Documentation maintenance”Articles and screenshots track source dependencies. On trusted main-branch changes, the refresh workflow rewrites affected articles from mapped source evidence and captures affected UI scenes against an isolated demonstration fixture. Generated updates must pass source, asset, build, and browser checks before publishing. Failures retain the previous deployment and diagnostics. Automated capture checks are recorded separately from human visual review.
Screenshots contain fictional workshop content; the AI suggestion is illustrative. Capture never calls paid models. Automatic article rewriting uses a separately configured Writer credential. A successful KB deployment does not establish that the application was redeployed.
Earlier baseline
Section titled “Earlier baseline”The Osprey field guide introduced the public KB, Help & docs links, high-resolution light-mode captures, screenshot source tracking, and Cloudflare publishing.
