Troubleshoot a course
Identify the failing step and preserve useful context.
Course not found
Section titled “Course not found”Check the signed-in account and course link. For review access, the owner should confirm the invited email matches your account. Do not infer that an inaccessible course has been deleted.
Media does not load
Section titled “Media does not load”Ask the author to inspect Files and the block’s reference. A private resource requires access, and a signed URL expires. For an external embed, check its HTTPS address and the provider’s availability.
AI result is unavailable or stale
Section titled “AI result is unavailable or stale”Save current work, check the selected scope and locks, and retry. Cancelled or out-of-date suggestions must not replace newer work. The inspector’s AI Assist tab and toolbar use the same working flow in Quail. Open a content page rather than the cover, and check that the request stays within the current page.
Later pages are blocked
Section titled “Later pages are blocked”Check whether the course uses ordered navigation and has an unpassed scored quiz. Practice checks and checklists do not unlock a scored gate. See assessments.
Report a problem
Section titled “Report a problem”Record the app release label, the page/action, expected behavior, and what happened. Preserve your draft first. Screenshots should use only the course content you intend to share.
